A glimpse into Melanie’s public life — from international events and media appearances to advocacy work and moments from the global stage.
As an outspoken advocate for Israel and the Jewish people, Melanie has navigated intense international scrutiny, online hostility, and coordinated disinformation campaigns, experiencing firsthand how antisemitism and identity politics manifest across campuses, media, culture, and public life.
Raised between Israel and the United States, she brings a rare cross-cultural perspective shaped by both Israeli and Diaspora Jewish experience. As a Jewish student leader at UC Berkeley—one of the most hostile campuses toward Israel—she witnessed how antisemitism operates within elite academic institutions and public discourse.
Before stepping onto the global stage, Melanie built a career as a data scientist, entrepreneur, and startup founder, giving her a systems-level understanding of how narratives and information ecosystems operate. After experiencing October 7 in Israel, she chose to step away from the tech world to pursue advocacy full-time and represent Israel on the cultural stage at a moment when Jewish visibility and leadership became uniquely consequential.
Through international media appearances, public forums, and speaking engagements reaching audiences of millions, Melanie speaks with clarity about Jewish identity, disinformation, and leadership under pressure in an increasingly polarized world.
From growing up between Israel and the United States to becoming one of the most publicly visible Jewish advocates of the past year.
